Tengo una Golden Retriever de 2 años, vivimos en Menorca, le encanta nadar en el mar, pero me arañaba constantemente. Ahora nos bañamos juntos sin problemas

I’m reordering the next size up even tho I followed the guide for 40-55 lb dogs. (size 5).

We have an Aussiedoodle and he has a lot of fluff around his feet. These boots seem to work pretty well – they definitely didn’t come off. Our dog walked around like he was tipsy but he is very tolerant.

The weather has been brutal with wind chills in the -20s on some mornings. In order for him to go out and take care of business, we need to protect his feet as much as we can.

These little boots have a light fleece lining on the bottoms and they slip on pretty well. NOTE: The little yellow paw print on the boot tells you which side to put them on. I didn’t get that at first and they actually fit better mismatched. BUT now we try to get them on the right side.

NOTE: the velco is VERY strong. If Seppy sits down on a rug with them on and the strap is not pulled around the back of his foot, the boot sticks to the rug and pulls off. That is a lesson learned to just make sure the boots are snugged on as much as safely possible. Don’t want them too tight for fear of affecting his circulation.

Our dog is a 46.2 lb Aussiedoodle. I measured his feet (2.2 inches) and followed the guide. Ordered a size 5. They do seem to fit over his whole paw but I worry about them being just a little too tight on the fronts of the paws. So I re-ordered a 2nd pair in a size 6 just so the backs of the boots pull up a little more. Hoping that helps his feet feel more comfortable.

So far so good. They have provided him with some relief so he can stay out for almost 15 minutes in the subzero temps. Without them, he lifts his leg and holds it up and doesn’t want to move. These allow him to trot around a little bit and will get us to Spring.

Love these boots. We are in a very hot climate. Now Oakley can come everywhere with us without having to worry about his feet burning. Absolute perfect fit and they don’t bother him at all wearing them.
We have so many comments about how cool and cute he looks in them.

Hi. Needed boots for my Italian Mastiff-American Bulldog mix, female, 5.5 years old, 90 lb. Bought a couple in the local store returned one . Difficult to put on. The other high boots looked very good, but difficult to put on, didn’t want to stay on, one Velcro strap. Had to stop every 5 minutes to fix the boots until during the third time walking with the boots on, we lost one in the deep snow. Found QUMY dog boots on Amazon website. Like the looks, reviews, ratings, so I ordered one. Choosing the proper size was a little challenge. My dogs paws measure 3.25” long and 2.2” wide. I ordered the #7 size. I used the recommended way to measure my dogs paws, letting her to stand on a piece of paper and trace the paws as close as possible. Afterwards measure all of them and tried to find one size which is correct. I had a problem with my dogs paws being narrow but longer. I chose size 7, which was long enough.
So the boots arrive as promised on time , fit well, easy to put on, feel a little wide as I was expecting, but the length is correct. The nice thing about these boots are the two Velcro straps, one of them is fluorescent, they hold the boots on, no adjustments, no lose boots. Even after a run and chase with other dogs through the woods and the deep snow, they stay on, I can enjoy the winter walks again. I am very pleased. Thanks.

I decided to buy boots for my 50 lbs mutt as he started to become a bit obsessive about the little (and I mean tiny) snowballs that would form on the top of his foot. Stopping frequently during the walk and licking when we got home even after the snowballs were no longer visible. We do not walk on salted roads or sidewalks, instead we walk on hiking trails through woods. He has medium length hair, and while I do use that “Secret” paw protection that prevents ice forming between his toes, it doesn’t really help for the rest of the hair on his feet and legs. I was really torn between getting boots that go up quite high on his legs or “booties” that just cover his feet. I opted for the booties since they were a little cheaper and if he hated them, I wouldn’t be out a lot of money.

I bought a size 5, his front feet measured approx. 6.5cm long by 5cm wide. I did cheat a little since it is difficult to have a dog stand on a piece of paper while you trace their foot. Instead I made him walk through mud, then walk onto a piece of cardboard, measured his paw print and added a little extra to the measurement to factor in nails, skin, hair, etc. On the front feet the size is perfect, however his back feet are a little smaller, so there is a lot of extra room in the boots.

There is an instruction manual that came with the boots to explain how to get your dog used to the boots. It is very well written and suggests a week or more for your dog to get used to the boots before you actually take them on a walk. I didn’t follow it. I did let him sniff the boots for several minutes, praised him A TON while I was putting them on, and managed to not laugh while he duck-walked around the house. He did not panic when I put them, nor did he try to pull them off, nor did he freeze and shut down. The first picture is Day 1, and the second picture is Day 2. Clearly isn’t bothered. First day on the trail, he was hesitate for the first 20 feet, then he realized that the snow wasn’t hurting his feet and got VERY excited, bouncing all over the place. There is some trial and error when it comes to adjusting the straps. He has his dew claws. Too tight, the boot rubs on his dew claw. Too loose, the boot comes off. I strongly recommend checking their feet several times during the first few walks to ensure there is no rubbing.

    Now the actual review.

PROS: I like the tread on the bottom and the double Velcro strips both of which are reflective, which makes it super easy to find a lost boot in the dark. For us, the shoes are easy to put on and off. However, for a more excitable dog or one that hates to have their feet messed with, I think these would be a challenge to put on.

CONS: These should really be sold as a set of 2 rather than set of 4, since a dog’s back feet and legs are usually smaller than their front feet. Also, since these are booties, we get a lot of snow packed into the boot, typically on his back feet. I wonder if a smaller size on the back feet would alleviate this issue?

Obsessed with these little booties. This is the first time I have attempted introducing any of our fur babies to something more fashion forward than their typical Al natural barefoot look that they’re typically sporting.
With the recent snow and temps still dropping, I figured I had two options:
    1. Start construction on their very own indoor self cleaning and deodorizing, doggy lavatory , equipped with doggy spa and featuring a fresh food dispensing option that includes their choice of fresh rotisserie chicken, sirloin steak, smoked salmon or just cheese when feeling snackish.
    OR the alternative …?
    2. These booties 🙂 :
so they can continue doing their business as well as play a bit longer outside but without the risk of frostbitten puppy paws.
Mags and Asparilla were throwing all paws and dew claws in for the first choice or course and I definitely was in support, however we needed a more economical, practical and immediate solution to which THESE BOOTIES ARE AMAZING!
They are fantastic quality, water resistant, and have good grip so our pups aren’t slipping and sliding about when the ground is icy
or when they’re inside on our hardwood floors while we’re still getting prepped to head outdoors.
The cheetah print is adorable, they’re affordable and the Velcro adjustment straps provide the ability to keep them comfortably and safely secured. It took very little trial and error to figure out the correct adjustment.
We purchased a size 1 for our 12 week pug and a size two for our 2 year old pug.
However, I think size one would’ve worked for two year old Mags.
I may just order another size one for her , and keep the size two’s to give to a friend.
My sister’s dog Reggie would benefit from the size 2’s and being from Los Angeles, and more bold in his styling and fashion taste, I think he’ll appreciate the cheetah print just fine. I’ll update with a follow up on his opinions.
Lastly, you’ll see in the video: Mags and Asparilla’s catwalk debut.
They’re getting more familiar and more comfortable in their new kicks as I type this. I will update as they acclimate but they seem pleased, happy and cozy in their new kicks, ready to be the envy of all their fur friends here in the less fashion conscious Midwest.
Great product with enough color and size options to pick from! Looking forward to seeing more great colors and patterns , because we will be sure to try them all!
    Us girls love our shoes!
