- THE PERFECT SIZE: The 64oz bottle is designed for Rabbits and Ferrets, The bottle is weather resistant and can be used in outdoor environments. Not all small animals need the same amount of water. For the 64oz we use a 7/16 inch tube that is large enough to accommodate the water needs of the pets noted above.
- VACUUM SEAL: Lixit bottles work by forming a vacuum to hold the water inside. It is important to fill the bottle all the way to the top and ensure the cap is on tight to prevent leaking. Some dripping when the bottle is first turned over is normal.
- EASY TO CLEAN: The lixit wide mouth bottles are designed with a large opening to allow easy access inside for cleaning. The opening is large enough to accommodate a bottle brush and is easy to refill with water.
- QUALITY STAINLESS STEEL: Our tubes are made of the same 304 grade stainless steel in food preparation. We polish our tubes until they have the same satin finish that is found in quality silverware. Each tube is hand coned on the end to ensure that it has a smooth tip that will not harm your pet.

This is a faulty water bottle. The spout leaks and drips water constantly into the cage, causing the bedding to get soaked and creating an unhealthy environment for my guinea pig. The sad thing is that this is the second time I’ve tried to replace this particular type of bottle. I originally bought this type of water bottle that had worked well for a long time but had begun dripping into the cage. I’m very disappointed because I thought I would just replace it, end of story, but that is not the case.

You cannot return this DEFECTIVE product described with the intent to mislead customers. The bottle is leaking, although it is stated to be leak proof. I would never order this product in case that I read well what is written for return policy.

Diese Flasche ist vollkommen da Schrott einmal gefüllt und zusammengebaut ist sie undicht sie tropft vorne aus dem Metallstift würde ich niemand weiter empfehlen diesen Schrott zu kaufen

I have six of these and never had issue with them leaking. Just fill them COMPLETELY – that includes the “shoulders”. Get all of the air out. When you turn it over, it helps to let out some water by pressing in the ball, but this is unnecessary. It will drip for a minute or two if you don’t, but after that minute the vacuum with establish itself and will seal the water.

I bought two of these for my rabbits. I chose Lixit because I was told they are the best brand of water dispensers of the bottle type. I’m extremely disappointed. I put them together with the very simple instructions and upon turning them upside down to install they just drip constantly. Fast dripping not some slow drip every few minutes. I mean 2 drips per second. I even thought, maybe I am squeezing a bit with my hand, so I fully installed and the dripping did not slow down when I released my grip. they will be empty within a couple of hours and my rabbits hutch will be flooded. I cannot use these. I’ll be returning.

Like that, they hold a lot of water. Not easy to clean. I am currently ordering bent brushes to attempt to get out the mold algae that forms wish they made these in a blue which would lessen the growth of algae but overall I’m happy with these. Ordering one a month

The first actually leakproof bottle I’ve found. Our skinny pigs seem to drink a lot more water from this one vs the glass ones we have. Follow the instructions and fill the bottle to the top to eliminate drips. Sturdy plastic bottle. Easy to clean with the wide mouth too. I’d buy this again.

According to the instructions it states that as long as it has the yellow piece in it it will not leak. Well mine has the yellow piece in it and it still leaks. Water lasts maybe a day in it.

My son was begging for a bigger waterer for when we had lots of baby bunnies. He was thrilled with this GIANT! However they immediately started leaking. But then they have since stopped?! I have no idea why…maybe the heat, maybe just being used longer? Anyway, he said he used to have to fill them up every day or multiple times a day. Now the babies are gone so he has them on our male cages and only has to refill them every few days. Nice for when it’s hot out and they need a lot more water. We will need to go back to our bowls in the winter but for summer use these are great.

My wife ordered these for her rabbits. We had the round cheaper water bottles at first. However our daughter loves to help feed and water and when the round bottles get cold they are brittle. Our daughter kept busting them, so we decided to give these a try. Have been impressed they hold up great despite the temp they are thicker and hold more water than our previous bottles. Only knock on them is the same for every waterer if you don’t get the tap good and tight it will leak. These get tight enough my 8 year old daughter has trouble loosening to refill. Other than that these have been great and at a good price. Our grow out bunnies get alittle rambunctious and have knocked the waterers off playing and they are good as new definitely hold up to everyday abuse.
