    Functions as intended. I recommend getting multiple filters at the time of purchase since they are a bit different and I couldn’t find a deal after. The stainless steel does make it nice to clean that part of it… but when you consider the plastic components, It will still suffer from the problems of many other fountains. This one may take longer before having those cleaning issues but they will still be apparent after some time. So either replacing a cheaper fountain more often or getting your pet to drink from a more standard bowl might be the best option. This may work well if you clean the whole thing every 3 – 4 days… I find a normal bown way easier to keep clean and fresh or if I really want some filter and running water… a cheaper easier to replace fountain is best so the hard-to-reach places can’t become nasty.

    So, my dumb cat won’t drink any water and read that all cats love a running water fountain because that is a natural drinking experience for them. Not true. My cat wants nothing to do with this thing. Total waste of money, but that’s not the manufacturer’s fault. That’s because my cat wants to die of thirst.

    Upon unboxing the water fountain, I had this up and running in less than 5 minutes. It’s pretty easy to set up and super quiet. I mean if I were a cat, I would totally drink from this thing, but I’m not. So, I’m trying to figure out if I should sell it or put vodka in it and use it for my own personal benefit. I’ll update you all on how that goes.

    As far as cleaning goes, it is pretty easy. There are a lot of nooks and crannies you need to work around to get clean and the metal stains easy. It requires frequent cleaning. So, there is a very small PITA experience associated with the cleaning process, but it’s not terrible. You would want to keep it clean for your cats anyway.

    All in all, I would recommend this fountain, but be sure your cat will drink from it. Maybe start them out with it as a kitten. In case you are wondering, my cat is doing fine. We feed her wet food and she gets hydration there. So, don’t worry she will live a long and healthy life and continue to cause me to waste money on cat stuff she never will want.

    It’s a little higher than our previous fountain and I think she likes that. She took right to it. It’s quiet and easy to clean. Because it’s stainless steel and no light exposure there’s no constantly checking for any green forming in the reservoir edges. Very easy to change filters as well.

    I am very happy with this stainless steel cat water fountain! I do not have to worry about my kitties having a source of fresh, filtered water. It is super easy to clean the unit and change out filters when needed. The unit is also SUPER quiet at all times. I would highly recommend this fountain for your pets.

    This has been running constantly for 2 weeks with no problems and no leaking. I just don’t fill it to the tippy top. I also use filtered water from the fridge to fill it so that the filters last longer. I thought my cats would be afraid of this but they all love it. I didn’t use the faucet type attachment. If you leave it off it’s just like a soft wave of water. I might try attaching the faucet part later and see how my cats like it. Quiet but has a nice trickling sound so it’s relaxing. I have had to top off the water every 2 days but not that much and I do have 6 cats and the unit is in a back bedroom that gets hot during the summer so I’m sure there is some evaporation. Comes with clear instructions. Glad I purchased the bigger one because the next size down would have been way to small. Nice light at the front for nighttime. It’s in a spare bedroom that I made into a cat room so the light doesn’t bother anyone but the light is not overly bright so it wouldn’t matter if it was in a bedroom where ppl sleep. It’s just a soft blue glow. I ordered the stainless steel one and I think this one will last longer than the plastic ones. Comes with a one year warranty on the motor. Clear instructions on how to clean it every couple of weeks.

    When our previous fountain was no longer able to allow any further forgiveness for random uncontrollable leakage, the pets were devastated. LUCKILY not only is this fountain incredible, and brilliantly designed to last as well as hold on to the water being pumped and filtered, but the shipping process was the most efficient I have encountered! My pets didn’t even have to be sad more than two days!!
    So the fountain arrived VERY quickly in eco-friendly packaging, all parts were present, and clear instructions were included. Washing and assembling the device was wonderfully easy, which is important because it does require frequent care, but this requirement has been well considered in the design. Once assembled and installed, this fountain is sleek and elegant and completely quiet, perfect for any space- and the design lends well to minimizing mess while pets splash and hydrate with glee. It takes half the space of the fountain it replaced in my home, yet has double the capacity and makes none of the noise or mess— and brings even more joy to my pets, because it clearly is designed with their comfort and enjoyment in mind, along with ease of care of the unit. 10/10 for creating a product that brings my cat as much happiness as having his own sink that no one ever forces him to turn off and leave before the party is over, but is easy to clean. Also, important note: The viewing window is really useful and looks fancy and nautical like a magical porthole into the sea , and has a cool reflective blue glow that looks just like the pictures.
    I would wish that this had been the first fountain we ever tried, except now I know to appreciate this one even more for being such an exemplary product from a nice company. Even when opening the package, notes about care and how to get help with assembly or trouble, or who to call to talk about the product, advice on hydration, as well as the tools in the box, all reflect how much heart and soul have gone into this amazing product.
    I am absolutely impressed with this company making products that live up to the promises.

    This water fountain is exactly as described I love the fact that it is stainless steel. Easy to clean and it keeps the flowing water cooler than plastic. My two cats love the continuous water fall and it gives me great relief to know that water is always fresh, clean, and accessible to my fur babies.
