I have three of these carriers and I love them. They are large enough for two bunnies or a bunny with a small litterbox. The canvas material however is now chew proof, so if you animal loves to chew you just have to make sure they aren’t chewing through. I have not been folding it after use, as it was a bit hard to first open it up, as the metal frame is sturdy. The pad on the bottom has a cover which is not water proof. The foam inside the pad cover is a pretty cheap material, but it’s not the end of the world for my use. definitely worth the value.

I was looking for a carrier that was both sturdy and comfortable for our 2 newly adopted kittens. We’ve been training our kittens to come camping with us in our travel trailer so we needed something that they could spend time in and was sturdy enough for long rides.
This carrier is roomy and will have enough room for the both of them as they grow. We place it in the corner of the room and put a few toys in it to get them used to it. They love to take naps in it and come and go when they please.
When we take them on rides either to the vet or just to get them accustomed to being in a vehicle, we are able to secure it with the seatbelts. There are plenty of zippered windows for them to look out of or for me to slip in a travel treat. They are the most content when they can see out of the truck/car windows. We are still working on the safest way to do that because it needs a booster to be up high enough to do that.
I love all the different access points the carrier has. There is one at the top and I believe 3 of the sides (I am too lazy to get up and walk into the other room to verify…lol…but you can look at the specs by scrolling up). It’s also great that I can unzip a small space for me to slip in treats while we ride, while having the ability to keep the opened space small enough to keep the kittens in. The thought of having an escaped kitten in the cab of the truck isn’t a pleasant thought at all! I am pretty sure the first place they will head for is the driver’s side. They are drawn to it for some reason when we let them loose inside the cab while sitting in our driveway. They are curious little creatures for sure!
We have no troubles or issues ever getting them in their carrier. In fact, when we set it on the table with the sides open, they both happily climb into without any coaxing. Win – win!
We have a trial-run camping trip planned soon – nearby and of short duration. I am keeping my fingers crossed that it will go reasonably well! The carrier will be a big part of it. I think they will have to be crated while I cook because our travel trailer isn’t large and I don’t want them jumping up to investigate the tantalizing smells coming from the gas cooktop. There is more than enough room that we can put a food in with them. I haven’t worked out the water situation yet, but I do know that I don’t want to put a bowl in with them because it will get spilled. Wish us luck!

My 15 lb 3 year old kitty broke his paw and needs to go to the vet weekly for rebandaging his splint. He is by nature a super active and jumpy and curious kitty and for the past 3 weeks ( this just happened 3 weeks ago) could not jump or roam the house or be in control of where he is and was going crazy being confined to just one room in our house. He really likes to be in the middle of all family activities.
His prior case and a typical cat carrier case is much smaller and he could not stand up or turn around in it….. It was a hard plastic case with a metal grate door and he even scratched his little nose on our initial trip to the vet trying to get out.
I knew I wanted something better for my sweet kitty. Well this case has exceeded all expectations! It is very roomy and he can easily stand up and turn around . It is very well made. My cat actually like to hand out in it for fun. It is very cozy.
It has 3 doors, all zipped. One on the narrow side, one on the wide side and one on top.
We now use it not just to take him to the vet but to transport him to wherever we are hanging out in the house and he is very happy and cozy to stay inside the carrier while we do stuff in other rooms. Since he should not roam right now and for the next 6-10 weeks, this is perfect for his mental health.
We have a yard and he used to go outside on a leash and had several spots in the yard that he would be able to roam to the length of his leash before. Now I put him in his favorite spots in this case and since it’s canvas with mesh windows/ doors, he can still get fresh air and look around just like before.
So this case is AMAZING! I recommend it for a kitty ( or a small doggie) and they will love it and you will be happy to see your pet happy.

The carrier is ok. One of the reasons why I bought this one was the ability to use a seatbelt. I drive a Ford Expedition. A big truck. Apparently not big enough to use the seatbelt and this carrier. Otherwise, it works fine.

These are hands down the best long haul car carriers that I’ve used. I’ve had to transport my two cats (petite senior female and big/tall/long boy) from the Midwest to down south on five separate 15+ hour long car trips. These are straight drive trips, stopping for gas only.
I’ve previously used the large sleepypod circular carriers and the large sturdibag carriers. While both got the job done and kept them contained, ultimately the cats slept hot, cramped, and uncomfortable. Found these carriers on Amazon and I’m 100% happy with this purchase.
Yes they are large, but I could fit two side by side in the backseat of a Volkswagen Tiguan. They were tall enough for my cats to sit completely upright comfortably, and the were long enough for my slinky boy to lay almost completely stretched out.
The frames are sturdy metal and the pad inside is adequate. I feel like there’s plenty of space to insert your own pad or cat bed instead. The zipped flaps are amazing, with one side of the carrier opening completely. This made it easy to get the cats in and out but also was a huge window for them to see me and their surroundings.
Overall, the price, size, and durability of these carriers make them an excellent long haul option. The best one in my opinion.
PLEASE NOTE: my cats are not scratchers or biters, so I can’t say how well the zipped flats would hold up against that. In my experience, the zippers and flaps have held up give against head bunting and “let me out” face pushing.
