I bought this for my cat a couple months ago because she is always thirsty. It was easy to assemble and clean. It is good quality for the price however she hates it and won’t go near it but my dog loves the running water and it’s turned into his bowl. The running water is a nice sound creating laminar flow where the water looks smooth like glass. Would be great for other cats.

Bisher hatten die zwei Katzen eine normale Schale bzw Schüssel – man musste eben immer wieder schauen, dass das Wasser sauber und frisch ist und mir kam es jetzt auch nicht so vor, als würden die zwei da übermäßig draus trinken.
Nachdem ich ihnen den Trinkbrunnen hingestellt hatte, haben sie ihn erst Mal sehr skeptisch beobachtet (Bilder xD). Nach kurzer Zeit wurde er aber ausprobiert und akzeptiert.
Der Brunnen ist sehr leise. Erst, wenn etwas weniger Wasser enthalten ist, hört man ein sanftes Plätschern, welches aber nicht stört. Auch nicht nachts. Bis dahin ist er während des Betriebs nicht besonders wahrzunehmen.
Es leuchtet ein unscheinbares blaues Licht im Behälter. Das hilft (jedenfalls bei uns) nachts nicht dagegen zu laufen 😀
Die drei Liter Fassungsvermögen reichen hier für eine Woche. Danach wird das Gerät gut gereinigt und die Filter gereinigt bzw ausgetauscht. Wem diese Arbeit und die Kosten für Ersatzteile nicht zu viel sind, dem kann ich den Brunnen ans Herz legen. Lohnt sich!

It has worked great, was easy to install and is easy to clean. I have 5 cats and the size and capacity seems perfect. No splashing or leakage. Very quiet. I transitioned my cats from water bowls. This was their first fountain and within a week all of my cats were drinking from the fountain instead of the bowls. It seems sturdy and durable. Over all I’m very happy with my purchase!

I bought this fountain in March. I really liked this fountain. It’s quiet. The cat seems to really like it. It’s really easy to switch out the filters.
My problem and its a pretty big problem is the rubber/plastic piece the spout sticks out of. I noticed this time when I unscrewed the piece, it is loaded with mold or black gook. I can not clean it. It does not come apart. I have tried to push the rubber piece out with a screwdriver, no luck. You dont see the yuck right away, until you take the whole thing apart. I’m disappointed. I may try to order it again, to see if this was just a fluke, but for the time being I’m going to have to switch back to the older fountain.

LIKES: This fountain is quiet. Even when it runs out of water, it does not make that awful grating sound. It’s easy to clean and I found the design to be nice and unobtrusive. It isn’t a pain to fill the container without taking the lid off, which is useful when the fountain is far away from a sink. Overall a great fountain.
CONS: Better directions would be nice. It took me 3 days to figure out that the fountain spout should attach tightly to both the lid and the pump, so that the pump is lifted out of the water with the lid. The cat fountains I’ve used in the past did not do this, so I had a water mess for days, on the floor, thanks to my cat being destructive. She literally would pull the lid and fountain spout off and spill water everywhere. Not sure if she thought it was a toy. But once I got it tightened, she has left it alone and no more water on the floor. I would ask that the light change colors when empty or maybe a chime (not the grating sound most have) when near empty/empty. The blue light isn’t very bright and it is hard to tell when it’s getting low.

So we got this as a replacement I have went through probably 10 to 12 fountains in the last 2 years the pumps always seem to go and it’s normally cheaper to just buy a new Fountain then it is to find the correct pump so over the course of the last few years I’ve discovered that my cats like the faucet Fountain design best so this is fantastic for them and it has a really big dish which is why I ordered this one because we are getting a poodle terrier mix and I wanted this to be big enough for her to drink out of two and it definitely is! I’m going to give this five stars because I really like it and all of my cats -(I have 11) – seem to really enjoy it as well so hopefully the pump lasts longer than 12 weeks but if it does go I will change my review! And it has two filtration spots it comes with one filter, and then it comes with a separate filter that goes around the pump which I’m really excited about hopefully that prolongs the performance! I would definitely recommend for this price I paid $19.99. So overall I definitely think it’s worth the money it is great size and performs well. The only thing I wish it had was a multicolored light the last one that we had had yellow green and blue flashing lights it rotated between the three colors and my cats were mesmerized by it some of them would just sit at night and watch the colors on the wall so we miss that. It’s light but sturdy, it is made out of a PVC material, and it does not appear to leak at all and I filled it all the way up!

Extremely happy with this purchase! (and I looked at loads!!) A+++ very easy to set up. It’s practically silent, smooth running, great water capacity and looks really sleek. My kitten went straight to it and I’ve never seen her drink so much water in one go. She loves it! Everything they advertise is accurate. It’s easy to setup, use & refill. Taking it apart, thoroughly cleaning each piece & putting it all back together is simple. The reservoir is slightly see through so it’s easy to see when it needs refilling. I tested out what happens if the water gets too low & at first I could hear a slight difference in the sound it makes & eventually it shut itself off. It normally makes a very low, pleasant waterfall sound & then gets a little louder when it needs refilling which is a nice way to be alerted. At first my cats were skeptical about it but now they seem comfortable with it. I still keep their old water dish out & they are still using it so I can’t really tell if they have a preference for the fountain or for their old dish. I prefer the fountain though as it has a filter & doesn’t get that slimy & hard to scrub off film that glass dishes seem to get after a few days.
